2 cats and a Dog

Another custom order request that was fun to make! The lovely customer wanted it to include a doodle she had made of 2 cats and a dog, to be patched onto the bag. I was very happy with how this piece came together:)

Oh hey, the lovely customer took a snap of me too when she hop on by to collect her new totting tote. Woohoo, vanity time. Yes, I exist!

A Dog Head Bag

Received a phone message from a friend who wanted a 'dog-head-bag' made for her friend's upcoming birthday. After it was completed...cutting the different dog heads, putting the whole thing together, I wished I had made a more sculptural-dog-head bag instead. Like a dog-head where you can unzip its head and put your goodies inside...its head. Ooohoohoo! Maybe next time!

Am happy with this piece nevertheless! I loved it. I wished I could have kept it for myself. Hey, that pretty much goes for a lot of works I've made. I do hope the birthday girl loved it as much as I do!

Daffy 1 and Daffy 2

I thought this was an interesting order. I've never had a customer want me to create base on an existing toy's shape...or general structure. But it was her (the customer's) daughter's most cherished toy and was beginning to fall apart from excessive play on its arms and legs. So, the lovely mother wanted me to create another piece for her child. I liked that she gave me freedom to create, in that I did not have to follow the exact shape and size of the former. Her daughter calls it "Daffy", hence Daffy 1 and now, Daffy 2. :-)
