Break Time

Hello there!
Doinky Doodles! shop of handmade madness will be closed from the 29th till 14 June. It will be back to it's smokin' chimney sewing rat-tat-tat-ness on the 15th June. During this time, I (maybe) visiting flower fields, see Anne Frank's home, do a total meltdown in Van Gogh's museum, get lost inside more museums, roam the flea markets, eat waffles and bread, be freezing my butt off. Etc. Etc.

Oh boy oh boy. I can't wait. Amsterdam here I come!

They reside in Indonesia, so I'd sewn some batik-styled
fabrics on one of the cushions.

A couple of weeks ago, a friend of mine hopped by and donated a stack of her child's plastic toy-cars and I thought it would be fun to start exploring the idea of using plastic toys for my future works.

My computer is currently undergoing a bit of surgery,
so checking/replying to your mails may be a little slow, taking approx 6-7 working days. I guess that is Bummer Number 1 for now. (Fixed!)

Okay, the next update will be that I'll be taking a break real soon, and the shop-&-studio will be closed during this Take-a-Break! period. For custom-order requests, you can still drop me a mail and I'll see what I can/cannot do!

(a) & (c) are actually 2 (and the very first) colorful holders made for microphones.

(b) is a pink bear sling pouch custom-made as a gift for a baby girl on her special birthday.

(d) is a black-&-white dog keychain custom-made as a gift for a lady who is a big dog-lover.

(e) is a coin pouch made for the customer’s aunty who used to teach her (the customer) how to draw fishes when she was a little child.

(f) is a patchwork tote custom made as a present for an aspiring film-maker.
